2012 IML Student Showcase
Please join us in a celebration of the wide range of innovative, media-rich projects created by students this year at the Institute for Multimedia Literacy. Specifically, we will highlight the fifth cohort of students to complete the Honors in Multimedia Scholarship program at the IML. Students from diverse majors and areas of study have united research and creativity to design unique and innovative examples of media-rich scholarship.
This year’s projects include explorations of robotics and collaborative architecture; touch-based models for mapping human transport across city networks; quests that explore the intersection of food, immigration and national might; and interactive documentaries and digital notebooks that foster critical engagement with the contemporary mediascape. The showcase will also feature a rich array of undergraduate and graduate projects from other IML courses.
The opening of the showcase will be May 4, 2012, beginning at 4:30 p.m. We hope to see you there!
