Steve F. Anderson, Ph.D.

Steve Anderson is an Assistant Professor of Interactive Media at the USC School of Cinema-Television and Associate Director of the Institute for Multimedia Literacy, where he runs the Honors in Multimedia Scholarship program. He is also the Associate Editor of Vectors Journal of Culture and Technology in a Dynamic Vernacular. His research interests include historiography, the theory and history of emerging technologies, documentary and experimental film and video, and interactive media design. He is currently completing a book manuscript titled Technologies of History, which examines the construction of history on film, television and digital media. Anderson has a Ph.D. in Film, Literature and Culture from USC and an MFA in Film and Video from CalArts.
