IML Welcome Week Ice Cream Social! Friday, August 24th at 2:30 pm

RSVP to our Facebook event to let us know that you’re attending!

Each year, the IML holds a Welcome Week Ice Cream Social for all of our new and returning students. The Social is a way for students to learn more about the IML, meet fellow students, faculty and staff, and to get a general sense of what the IML is all about.

One of the reasons IML students join our classes and programs is because of the environment we foster – unlike many other places on campus, IML faculty and staff work hard to create a collaborative and fun learning environment. Students enjoy coming to their IML classes, discussing with their peers, and creating interesting and exciting multimedia projects. And because the IML programs are interdisciplinary, students benefit from their interactions with a very diverse student body. We have students from Engineering, Fine Arts, Biology, Architecture, Journalism and more; being in the classroom with such a unique group of classmates definitely makes for a more exciting learning experience.

The Ice Cream Social for the Fall 2012 semester will be held on Friday, August 24th at 2:30 p.m. The event will be at the IML main building at 746 W. Adams Blvd. – guides will be at Tommy Trojan every 15 minutes between 2:00 and 3:30 to walk students to the IML building. Students interested in IML classes and programs are invited to tour the labs, meet other IML students, and learn about the IML classes.

All USC students are welcome at this event. Whether you are in an IML class or not, we hope that you will stop by and meet us! RSVPs are appreciated – students can RSVP on our Facebook event.
