Redesigning Reality Part 1: Scrapyard Challenge
Reuse. Recycle. Reconfigure. Jonah Brucker-Cohen and Katherine Moriwaki of Scrapyard Challenge will guide an afternoon of repurposing junk and refurbished electronics to create machines and robots. Throughout the week, artifacts from the workshop will be featured in a gallery show that is part art exhibition and part interactive junkyard. The series will foreground reuse and sharing as fundamental to the design and creation of hybrid media work. Reception to follow.
