New Home for the IML!

School of Cinematic Arts Dean Elizabeth Daley announced on May 2, 2011, that the school will soon break ground on the construction of a 60,000 square foot building that will be a new home for the IML, the Interactive Media Division and the Media Arts and Practices Ph.D. program, as well as several research labs. Located at the corner of 34th Street and McClintock Avenue, the building will complete the reconstruction of the SCA campus begun in 2006, and will bring the off-campus units together to enhance creative and collaborative synergies. For the IML, the new building will be an opportunity to connect with more students and faculty members, and to further collaborations on new forms of literacies and scholarship. We’re looking forward to moving in May 2013, and to hosting classes in the new space in August 2013!
