The School for Cinematic Arts, in collaboration with Disney-ABC, is pleased to invite USC students to take part in Project Remix, a competition to generate the best, most dynamic, creative, smart, funny, compelling, off-beat, exciting (you get the idea) Remix Videos. Our goal is to show off the creativity of USC students and to prove to executives at Disney-ABC that fans are able to make amazing things when allowed to remake, remix, mashup, cut-up (you get the idea) their original programming content.
In order to demonstrate the wide range of possible work, Project Remix has identified six categories of Remix Videos that will serve as the basis for this initial round of the competition. They are: Music Videos, Mashups, Cut-ups, Remix Trailers, Algorithmic Remixes and Freestyle. Remixes must be entered in one of these six categories! Remember that our goal is a diverse range of remixes and some categories may be more popular (and therefore competitive!) than others, so be creative and strategic with your choice of category!

The e-mail list will provide specific information about prizes, deadlines and how to submit your remixes. The competition has now officially begun! Deadline for submissions is November 26, 2007 at 5:00PM.
