First IML Class: IML 101 in fall of freshman year.
Highlighted Project: In IML 340, Sydney created a video essay exploring how the Nuremberg Trials, and the Holocaust in general, are taught in the traditional American classroom. Her essay includes testimony footage collected from the Shoah Foundation Institute’s Visual History archive, contrasted with her own home videos from a 5th grade re-enactment of the trials.

Sydney is currently an undergraduate researcher for the Virtual Sprouts game project at the Keck School of Medicine, and plans to pursue a Masters degree in Public Health after graduation.
